Job Title: Ironworker Job Description As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for various tasks depending on the stage of the project, including site mobilization, shaking out steel, erection, bolt-up, and miscellaneous metals/finish work. This role requires flexibility to work at multiple sites and out of town, primarily on commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Participate in site mobilization, shaking out steel, erection, bolt-up, and miscellaneous metals/finish work. Work on commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. Be flexible to work at multiple sites and out of town. Attend team meetings to discuss health and safety hazards and daily tasks. Complete company safety orientation and specific site orientations as required. Essential Skills Ironworker with a minimum of 2nd year apprentice level or higher. Valid AWP and Fall Protection certifications. CSTS and WHMIS certifications. Bolt-up/connector experience. Experience in commercial, infrastructure, or institutional construction. Welding experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3rd year apprentice Ironworker up to Journeyman level preferred. 5 years of commercial construction experience. Strong layout/blueprint reading skills. Ability to pass drug and alcohol or back checks for specific projects. Ability to obtain Secret Level 2 clearance for specific projects. Flexibility to work night shifts and out of town when needed.
